Daily Rambling
Rodo made it to Valladolid safe and sound! Safe to say he is currently sleeping. I should get a call from him around lunch time tomorrow and he will tell me how his first day at work went.
For me, today was a day of torential rain and severe thunderstorms. There is currently about a foot of water under the house and my five foot deep retaining pond in the back is full with about 6 inches over. Today we recieved about 6 inches of rain. I would drain the water with the sump pump but it looks like the electrical cord is in the back shed.....which is surrounded by water 6 inches deep. I'll get out ther tomorrow through the back alley. Needless to say, I'm going to have to dig the ponds deeper and larger if the french drain system is going to work at keeping the crawl space dry. Here's hoping for a drier day tomorrow.
