Pierre’s coeur, blood, breath, world stopped in that moment. He was so close to Jack’s bonbon lips he could see only him, feel only his inebriating l’haleine against his cheek. In his mind's eye, he leaned just a tresse closer, melding burning lips to his and from that point, consummation, swift, thorough, passionate démonstration of his devoted, admiring, l‘amour would surely ignite.
He was singularly stunned to awaken alone and to learn that le homme of his life (le pirate extraordinaire) had plundered not only his purse, but his clothes as well, leaving him not only penniless but pantless, too.
