A brief nap after being up for over 26 hours...

I don't know why I couldn't sleep. All I know is that my tolerance of annoying people is still short. I was so wiped out yesterday that I had a two hour nap after I did my volunteer assignment. I should go back to sleep soon.

My brother is here this weekend to go to the ren fair at OU. He wore his custom-made kilt. I teased him because he was acting like a four year old little girl with a new Easter dress - twirling around and otherwise messing with it. I kept saying, "You know, girls get that out of their systems by the time they are 6 or 8."

He paid for us to go to a Chinese restaurant. I think my brother is the only sibling I have who loves Oriental food as much as I do. However, he forgets that and starts talking about eating the spicy stuff as if he has a higher tolerance than I do. This particular place also serves sushi and wasabi. It didn't take long for me to remind him who really could handle the spicy stuff. I don't understand my siblings on this matter. I've always been able to eat really spicy stuff better than them. I just don't go around bragging at how hot I can take it, because I have two friends who can handle hotter things than me. If anything, I have to remember that most people can't handle what I can. But it never fails, one of my siblings will introduce a spicy food and give me this condenscending warning - and I pop it into my mouth and chew without even a gasp. It particularly cracks me up when the sister just younger than me does this - she used to have to dilute apple juice when we were kids.

I need to do more art. I am too mentally exhausted to do any real writing. Though right now, I need to just chill out and try to go back to sleep.
