It occured to me today that it would be very cool to paint certain optical illusions on the walls and floor of a large hall with
fluorescent paint and then bath the whole place in black light and have a party.
For the center of the floor, I would have
the rotating snakes - done in
Invisible Glow In The Dark Air Dried Lacquer. This way, under normal light, the floor look just white. I might have a two foot band of white and then have one of
these illusions.
On the walls, I would have frames pictures of other optical illusions - cleverly disguised as normal art. One on wall though, I would have a mural done with normal and fluorescent paints. In normal light, it would look like one thing and in black light, it would appear as something else. I'm thinking of maybe a sunset/volcano type of picture. Don't have it all mapped out yet.
