i'm back from washington.
everytime i ride on a plane and they start reading those instructions about bucking your seatbelt and using the seats as flotation devices i can't help but think, when was the last time that i turned on the news and heard, "There was a plane crash today but no one was harmed. good thing they were wearing their seatbelts." or the last time that they were flying over the ocean after a plane crash and found 50 previous passengers holding onto their seats to safely stay afloat. i mean, if the plane crashes your fucked.
