Zomg, it's too hot to be alive.
With the A/C going nonstop and the thermostat on 70* it feels hot and sticky inside, but I'm afraid of our electricity bill if I turn the thermostat down. It's so humid that it takes a lot of effort just to breathe. I have all these jobs to do at home, and I'll do one, then lie around in front of the fan, then do another one, then lie around in front of the fan... I'm so sweaty and nasty that I want to shower every couple hours. G-rosssssssss!!!!!
The kids are oblivious. They're outside playing in the kiddie pool. It's too hot for the dog, even -- he's passed out by the A/C vent, watching the kids through the window.
I'm off to go clean the grill, and then maybe pass out in the kiddie pool from heat exhaustion.
Screw that. I'll bring the grill pans and grates inside to clean later. I wonder if I can entice the kids inside to watch a movie and eat popsicles? Nobody needs to be outside when it's like this!
