Soofyan
So, it took me a long time to love Sufjan. Everyone else caught the Sufjan bug, but I never got into his music. I did really dig the cover of "Holy, Holy, Holy," which is one of my favorite church songs, but other than that, most of his songs just kind of got on my nerves.
Then I heard this song:
... and I can't get it out of my head. One of my students gave it to me on a mix CD she made, and I didn't even know it was him. I started googling the lyrics, and was floored when I heard it was Sufjan.
I think I'm going to have to rethink Sufjan's place in my iPod. He's kind of like Keane, I have to learn to love his music. I do like his wings. But, gawd, I just love this song.
