Weekends
Weekend ruled. Went to the 1 day for WI and took my brother. He had fun and wants to go again if the stepmom will let him. Spent Sunday relaxing with Mike while the rest were off at Ren Faire.
No idea what's going on next weekend really. I know there's a Chicago event but Mike leaves for Vegas on Sunday at 6 am so obviously I wouldn't be getting time with him if I went. I could technically go Friday night but with him and me needing to run about for things on Saturday I'd have to leave pretty much as soon as it starts. I'm thinking if I can get all the stuff we'd have to do Saturday done on Friday we can do something as a family Saturday.
I personally am plotting on using AJ to browbeat Mike into Ren Faire. We go pretty much every other year which means we should this year. Plus AJ formed an interest in a foam sword Robbie had. He had such fun chasing mommy and daddy down with it. Mind you this thing was about the size of a long sword phys rep. That's about the size of a lance for AJ. It was really cute when Mike played horsey for him.
Ah my adorable little knight and his stallion. Hehe.
Now if only my camera hadn't been dead at the time. Phooey.
I'm hoping to get AJ a sword at Ren Faire so we can redo it and I can get a pic. :D
