let's get physical, physical...

I've decided to join some sort of fitness related facility.

Now, in my area, there's weirdly not a ton of options unless I want to do yoga and pilates. I enjoy yoga and pilates, but since I do those already I was aiming for something a bit more active. I was jogging, but with the weather being so awful my motivation has pretty much evaporated. So that leaves gyms. I was up until an ungodly hour last night searching and checking out reviews online, and I think I've narrowed down my choices to two: Curves, and The 30 Minute Hit.

Curves is the ladies-only circuit training place, with hydraulic resistance machines. The reviews seem pretty much all over the spectrum, with a large percentage saying you get out of the program what you put into it, which makes sense. There were several complaints online of dodgy contracts, although none directed at the location in my area. (Most seemed to be in the USA.) The facility near me is only like, five blocks away, which is a pro, but a lot of people have said the workout can get boring. Momo had joined Curves before, but she stopped going, which does make me wonder if I can keep up my own interest.

The 30-minute Hit is a kickboxing circuit thing. You get to HIT stuff! This is something I enjoy. A lot. They say you can join no matter your level of fitness, and there are trainers to correct your form and such. The downside is that it is located WAY the fuck on the other side of town.

Both facilities have vaguely annoying hours.

I'm meeting up with my sister later to go to the mall, and I plan to discuss the pros and cons with her. I want to get started ASAP, before I get super lazy again.

While Christmas shopping yesterday, I found a vintage style dress that ACTUALLY FIT MY TITS. This is amazing. And it was on sale for cheap, so yes, I bought it. It's hard to get things to fit over the girls, which is a huge factor in my deciding I need to work out. I don't mind not being as skinny as I once was (I've been scrapbooking for a gift to my dad and grandma, and let me tell you, I was tiny. I never ever knew that I was since I've always been bigger than my sister, but damn, I was only a C cup!) and I'm even a touch fond of my little gut, but the boobs are out of control. If I can't reduce them by exercise I am seriously considering reduction surgery.
