I booked the double queen hotel room at the Queen Anne for April 10th...
I booked it for 3 people just in case my sister can't make it for one reason or another, I figured it would be easier to add people since the room already sleeps 4 people and they add 10$ extra for every person in the room. That way I can just tell the hotel "oh and we have 1 extra person," and have them charge us versus trying to get money back. If everything goes accordingly it should cost 57$ even per person, which includes 1 day of parking. The room also includes a fridge and one breakfast so hopefully that will help the cost of food. The hotel may have pool access as well, according to the website...

Nearby fitness facilities complete with swimming pool, sauna, and tennis courts."
Hopefully the Queen Anne is as awesome as it sounds. As for japantown, I still don't have a lot of information on the Sakura blossom festival hopefully there will be more information on the website soon. The only thing really scheduled is the grand parade for the 17th/18th so it may be possible to cosplay on the 10th/11th we'll have to wait and see.
