She is pathetic at times, and it’s necessary to occasionally bathe her in the tub. The first time, I was surprised at the ease of washing her when she was too weak to fight back. She has progressively gotten stronger and the last time that I bathed her, she came close to slaughtering me with her sharp claws. It’s so cute when she’s dangerous.
We changed up her habitat a third time. She’s gone from living in a storage container, a kiddy pool and now is living on a tarp put down in the dining room corralled by storage boxes. It keeps her out of trouble and protects the floor. I occasionally open up the front gate to her habitat to let her roam out to the living room.
She’s still not 100%, but she’s improving. I still do not know what to do with her some days and wonder if I’m up to the task of looking after my elderly cat. I am continually keeping an eye on her to ensure that she’s not in pain or suffering. Claws remains in good spirits and we do our best to keep her entertained. Last night, we played string. Granted, she couldn’t run after the string but she was still playful and would attack it when it came close to her.
