The clock is running down at my job. I put my notice in last Friday, but it seems that I have to resubmit it. The manager knew that it was in her box, but between Friday and Monday, it somehow went missing. I'm a little annoyed about that because my x-ray report was stapled to the letter. The letter has my SS# on it, but I am fairly certain that I scribbled it out because I had reservations about leaving it on a paper that was going to be hanging around in my manager's mail box and could be accessed by anyone.
I just finished my second day of my internship with a local county office on aging and disabled. So far, so good. I have no complaints.
Last night's dream was a little odd. I cannot remember a lot about it. I just recall a bit of the end before the alarm clock woke me up. It was kind of Halloween based or close to that. There was a part where I had to hide with about 2-3 other people. We had to get into sort of a small raft/barge and then a lid would be placed over us. Once we were in the cargo area, which was dirty...maybe filled with dirt, we would turn into bones. Once the lid was lifted again, we would supposedly convert back to our normal state. I went in, converted to bones and then my dream picked up where I was reconstituted and I was with the people who had been with me at we were visiting some sort of witch doctor/voodoo-esque lady. She needed to do one more thing to help us be whole again. After she helped me and I was leaving her office/home/dwelling, I noticed a sign carved into one of the walls. It said, "I protect myself" or something to that effect. For some reason, within the dream and in the waking realm, I've taken that to mean that I need to protect myself and not rely on others to fix me.
