I made this one after seeing a documentary on Caravaggio the painter. Even after he became famous he still wanted to hang out with the same people and live the low class lifestyle that he did before. Hence the "keepin it gangasta' part of the icon. The knife is there because he stabbed a man to death in a fight.
I made this one after seeing a documentary on Rembrandt. Like a modern day celeb, he spent a lot of money on big houses, fancy imported stuff and basically lived the good life. Hence why i put a giant blinged out 'r' on his self portrait.
Icon I picked up before Watchmen came out. It's much better than anything I could make. I liked how they seamlessly edited the newspaper and changed the headline. For a moment I was thinking that was the actual headline.
This is Det. Kima Greggs from The Wire. One of the few major female characters on the show. She has one of the best lines in the show, when she chides one of her meathead partners, "You're fighting the war on drugs one brutality case at a time." I like this icon because it's taken from the fifth season where she has finally made it to become a proper detective and it's a cool pose as well. :)
