I actually read a chapter today of the novel that I have been working on and off since last summer (Focault's Pendulum). So there you go, I wish I could read on the bus but for some reason I can't anymore. :(

This year is the 50th anniversary of the revolution in Cuba and the BBC World service put out a couple of radio documentaries looking at Cuba and the fact that despite it's relative small size and population it has had quite a big influence on the world. If you are interested in hearing it let me know and I will put them up, or you can go to the worldservice website, click on documentaries and it's called "Brand Cuba."

The movie will probably not live up to expectations but I'm happy to know that three members of my flist (Jamimegan, Red and Mrssnape1414) have read Watchmen recently. Read and enjoyed I should add. Hurray.

Was Luna Lovegood looking for Narwhals? Because a character in the book I'm reading mentioned that mysterious creature and I thought hey..where did I hear that before?
