If you are a history buff like me, or at least someone who enjoys reading about the past then maybe you should take a look at this site.

They put up a # of articles that have been published over the hundreds of years they have been publishing. Right now you can read this article from 1793:
It is with sincere regret that we confirm the report of yesterday, respecting the fate of this unfortunate Princess [Marie Antoinette], who suffered under the axe of the guillotine on Wednesday last...
And when I say read, I mean you get to see a scan of the paper, not just a text document.
