I'm not going to discuss for long the continued travesty that is the Emmy awards, except to say that I am happy that Glen Close got nominated as best Actress for Damages. She was bleeping awesome in that. I posted about her previously and how just a clip of her sitting there seething silently is enough to make your jaw drop.
Still it was good the wire got one nomination. I suppose it's fitting that the show that has had practically every major media paper/magazine in North America call it the best thing on tv has as many nominations as Ice Road Truckers and Jay Leno's Garage.
But let's move on......

Under the cut I will gush with B about season 3 and the merits of Kelly Brook, underwear model extraordinaire. Feel free to skip. nws picture under cut.
B..........isn't season 3 flippin awesome. :D Yes it is.
Oh man Stringer dug himself a big hole didn't he by knocking off D'Angelo. Stringer is such a great villian that you have no idea what he is going to do next. Have you seen any episodes yet where he is holding 'meetings' with his crew. There is one of the funniest lines ever in this season that takes place during one of his 'formal meetings'. I think you'll know it when you see it.
I love these two guys. I wish they could have worked as a surveillance team forever, but it wasn't to be. I suppose given how they were treated at the end of Season 2 I can understand why they were pissed off.
Keep your eye out for Marlo. That's all I can say.
Brother Mazoune......I'll say this. He won't be back in a future season. But this season. Well I'm not saying anything else.
And was it this season when Omar robbed the Barksdale stash house while disguised as a guy in a wheelchair?

There are so many awesome things in this season, I can't even think of them all.
Oh oh look for one of the baltimore police higher ups sitting in a gay bar. :D

Judging from my list of fantasy shags, you could probably guess I don't make a terribly big deal about breasts. But shoot, Kelly's breasts are like two of natures greatest miracles. Right behind the miracle of birth and sunshine. :)It also doesn't hurt that the rest of her is quite pretty as well. But I'll keep quiet now.
I was going to post about other things, but right now sigh I don't know, I just feel sad and not really want to dwelve on things that are out of my control and really have nothing to do with me. Suffice to say things always happen for a reason. And even though you can probably see a lot of things coming it doesn't make you feel better when they actually do.
I did get a review for Second Chance today from a reader who picked up the story adn has been reading old chapters. He left a note about something that I wrote back in like chapter 8 or 9, and it took me a while to think about what she was talking about........and then when I did realise what she was talking about my reaction was "Oh man, that was written like more than a year ago, I'm not going to lose sleep over that." Though as always I'm very happy someone left a review and that they took the time to leave an opinion rather than "Please update soon." But whatever, every review is a good review.
