* I turn my tv on for the first time in a couple of weeks and now some channels are not showing up. Wonderful. Good grief, oh well, off it goes.

* Based on all the wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from St.Louis in the last few days, it can be concluded that Capitalism and the Free Market system is only a good thing when you're winning. Not when those mean old Brazilians and Belgians come and buy your beer company. And just for the record, I'm sure the Belgians are going to murder the Clydesdale horses right under the St. Louis Arch at midnight on Halloween during some sort of European witchcraft ceremony. :nods:

* I like seeing tourists in Toronto. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. It makes me happy that despite having the most dysfunctional municipal government this side of Zimbabwe people still want to come and see this place.

* I hope more people read chapter 21. I hope someone does. 24 pages and 7K+ words is a lot of work to put into a chapter that no one reads. I got one review so far from a nice reader, who said it's been so long since she read the last chapter she doesn't know if she'll be able to follow anymore. Great. It's not as if I wanted a six month gap in updates. But such is life.

* The last time I flew by myself into the United States I had to answer the question "why if I was going to Memphis was I wearing a shirt that said Mexico?" I hope I don't get any grief this time from the powers that be.

* A coworker asked me yesterday why I was reading Tolstoy for fun. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to ask "Why do you keep wearing those tight tops of yours?" Needless to say I think that would have caused HR to show up and man I like being employed.

* Today i thought my mp3 player was broken. I was sad. Then I hit the reset button and it started to work again. I was happy. Moral of the story....technology is wacky and I'm typing like a child now for some reason.

* Reading even a few pages of one of Tolstoy's not famous works makes it abundantly clear just how much further I need to go as a writer. Good authors have much more vivid ways of describing things and and scenes. Even simple things like how people enter a room. I am learning a lot.

* Watching Hellboy 2 made me love Selma Blair even more. Sigh, I'm sure there is an opening for a 36 year old former actress in my department or something. It also made me love comics more as well.
