WAY overdue post
I don't know why I haven't posted in almost 6 months.
I've been reading my friends page, but never taking the time to write myself. Maybe it's because I've been in a state of change & transition. Maybe it's because I'm lazy. Maybe I've outgrown blogging or gotten "blogged out" after having to do so much for class Fall 06.
Whatever the case, I think I'm going to make a comeback. I've missed it. In this time, I've even quit posting personal entries. I've had shorter breaks before, but never this long.
What's going on with me...I'm still working at SIFAT.
Every day is different, some better than others. Overall, I really like what I'm doing, but I'm currently personally frustrated with my life. Our summer camp is in session, so the counselors (who are my age) are around. That is great, but I know all too soon, they'll go away and I'll be back to being lonely. I've never not had friends in my life. It's hard to deal with. I'm trying very hard to make them in my new town, but it's just taking time that I've never had to put into it. I'm sure it's going to improve, it's just that the last couple of weeks have been really hard on me for some reason.
I was given the opportunity to travel to Ecuador in March/early April. It was an awesome trip, and I hope to get to go back soon! I could've written tons of stuff just on that trip, but maybe next time...or at least another entry.
At this moment, I'm in Auburn for the weekend. I'm working on burning DVDs of photos that Jeff took for SIFAT so that I have copies of them. It's taking forever! I may be here several more days to finish it all.
