Real Life Update!
Holy crap, people still read this! Wow... Um... sorry?
Ok, so in the real life of Othella there have been goings on. First, I lost my job a couple weeks ago and had to move back home with my parents. This hasn't been good and I'm still owed $1500 in back pay, and I miss those kids like crazy. Major thanks go out to Amy and Dr. Tom because they helped me move back home. We were at Emily's wedding (my next point) and when I asked Amy to take a half hour reroute over to Dundee to help me bring the big stuff home, the Watkins' were gracious enough to send Mrs. Watkins and Emily home in Amy's car and send the van with muscle (a.k.a. Dr. Tom) along with me to Dundee. Because of that, I actually got everything home in one trip! It took me about 3.5-4 hours total to pack my room, and two vehicles. I stayed longer to play with Zoya and Xzander before I left, but Ali still wasn't home when I had to leave, so I didn't get to say goodbye to her.
Emily Nofziger got married! She is now Emily Skoglund and was a beautiful bride! The girls (all 10 of us) were there, of course Em was a little busy and Amy (as a bridesmaid and with her family there) wasn't much more free, but the rest of us had a blast together and they even got me up and dancing for several hours! I'm proud of that. I wasn't good, but I did it and had fun. And I wore a dress that had no prayer of fitting last summer! And I looked damned good in it. I'm very proud.
I'm on the job hunt again. My best prospect is another nanny position, in Oklahoma this time. They want to fly me out there for an in person interview! I'm waiting on that call today. Apparently they didn't call yesterday or the day before because she lost my number. So now that that is remedied, I sit and wait again.
The other night I went over to Bonnie's at 5 am and had muffins! And I got to snuggle kitties! And Nate was there... he kinda slept through most of it. And there was gossip and visiting and it was fun. MUFFINS!
I am completely single in fact and in heart. And I'm loving it. It has been a long process, but very rewarding. Now to find someone to love it with... lol I'm hopeless.
