Don't stare at it. That's totally rude.

24 days until what?

::is clueless::

I bought two pairs of capri pants for work, but I'm so short, they look like regular pants.

I know that feeling, pants are always way too long for me. I think clothing manufacturers assume that anyone with a waist my size must be 8 1/2 feet tall.

And on another topic entirely, what's happening with your plans for school? Are you going to college in September? This isn't a painful topic that I shouldn't be bringing up, is it?

::is still clueless::

24 days until the Ben Folds/Guster concert I'm going to in Boston! I'm super excited :)

Yes! It's infuriating. I'm constantly having to hem and cut regular pants I buy.

School isn't a painful topic but it's one in which not much is going on with. I'll be starting some more courses at my local community college this fall and doing that for one more year, and I'm going to start chatting with a couple of the actual universities I'm looking to get into, to see what I have to do for them to accept me into their school, what with my GED and my community college classes. I may have to take one more year of CC courses after this upcoming year, before I can get into a real college. Depends on wether they're impressed with my SAT scores, my GPA and rank before leaving high school in senior year and my essays. I'm hoping I can apply this winter/early spring and get into one for the next year. It's what I'm working toward, anyway.

That Jimmy Fallon blurb is awesome! Right up there with my other favorite Onion blurb about an annoying SNL actor- "America's love affair with Jim Breuer to start any day now."
