Kwikies, Part...What is French for 4?
I took Spanish throughout high school and for a year in college so French-speaking types please help me out here.
- I like VH1 Classic a helluva lot. Why? In a 45 minute stretch, I witnessed: Old School Kangol-wearing LL Cool J, Old School Hair-having Michael Stipe, a Steve Miller Band "In Concert" video(only took me 15 years from hearing one of his songs and finally seeing what he looks like), an Old School ZZ Top video where the actors literally act out the lyrics, and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds doing "Straight To You" (that last one was for Nessen in case his goalie ass happens to read this).
- This week is off to a better start than the last few, for the simple reason that I found Franken Berry at Wal-Mart. I've decided that anytime I find Franken Berry in a grocery store, I have to buy it and then declare the remainder of the week a holiday.
- My employer isn't giving me holiday pay for working during Franken Berry Week. Bitches.
- I hope to be in Muncie for Homecoming, just to give you guys ample warning. I plan on bringing my golf clubs, so round up a posse and lets play some late fall Indiana golf.
- Yesterday (Tuesday), I experienced the weirdest eye twich. My left eyelid twitched so bad, that it made my left eye look straight down, while my right eye was frantically looking around, like, "What the hell is wrong with this schmuck?"
- I don't care what anyone says, I will continue to play Strata golf balls until I run out of them and they stop making them. I started playing them during my junior year of high school, and I haven't played any other brand of ball since then, and that was like 10 years ago.
- Holy shit, my junior year of high school started 10 years ago this month. Time to smack Heidi on the ass and demand my Metamucil.
- My most recent quest is finding used golf ball outlets. I found a couple just outside of Hilton Head Island last weekend when I was visiting my uncle, and found a store in Savannah that was selling Stratas with the word PRACTICE printed on the side for 35 cents a ball. A dozen perfectly good golf balls for $4.50, as opposed to a similar dozen going for $20 or more.
- Speaking of my uncle, I don't wanna say he's rich, but I'm pretty sure his savings account makes more money in interest monthly than I earn working for Mediabase in the same amount of time. And he's still as down to earth as the rest of my Mom's siblings. Great guy.
- And to think, if I would have just agreed to go to Purdue for engineering, he was gonna pay my way. Hmm, funny how that all works out. I go to Ball State instead, study TCom, help found the Beta Sigma chapter of Phi Gamma Delta, and eventually meet my wife.
- I'm about to pass out in my office chair, and I still have 2 hours of "Name That Tune" to play.
