Veering into uncharted territory for me

Ok, I don't normally speak on issues of a political nature, mostly because I don't see myself as political. I don't see myself as either Democrat or Republican (the child in me almost stooped to writing Democrap and Repooplican...sheesh grow up Dave).

That being said I really only have a thing or two to say. As far as President Bush using a loophole to nominate his man as UN Ambassador, as long as you are complaining because of the choice of person, I have no problem. But all this whining I'm hearing, at least down here around Atlanta, is just ridiculous. Like no other President ever used this loophole. They have, Dems, Reps, Whigs, whatever...this loophole wasn't just some partisan loophole. Clinton used it. And don't think I'm just laying into Democrats here, the GOP pulled the same sob stories back during the Clinton administration. So, if you are complaining about the use of a loophole, shut it, I don't want to hear it. If you are complaining about the character of this guy Bolton, be my guest, have at it, and bring both barrels, at least then you are arguing about something worth arguing about.

It's like the politicians need to go back to kindergarten or something, and learn how to grow up. In fact, I'd like to make them a deal: they start to act like adults, and I just might drop the poop jokes.
