Just a caution to everyone. Do not ever get a best buy card.

I applied and was approved for a best buy card in april. It's the end of July and I have still never received a card or a statement.

I wen into best buy at the end of may to ask what was up,well no one told me at the time I applied for the card but it's through some random bank that just slaps best buys name on the card and best buy has nothing to do with it. It was naive of me to assume Best Buy would back up their credit card so, I just took that as a learning experience and called the number they gave me. I have called 4 times now between May and July and every time have had my call outsourced to India,which already makes me nervous. There is just something that makes me nervous about having people on an entirely different continent deal with my credit card issues. Every time I've called they need my FULL SSN to pull up the account,and yet they can not "due to security reasons" give me my account number over the phone. That makes nooo sense I can give you my name,address,ssn, and e-mail address and you don't even have a way for me to find out my account number? That seems a little off to me. It would be one think if maybe it was the card that I haven't recieved,but to not have ANY statements? WTF.

I'm really worried it's going to fuck me and my credit for something I had no control over at all, AND the ONLY reason I got the card was because you got 2 years no interest on it, but only if you don't miss 2 consecutive payments. Well I'm really worried I'm not only going to have a huge credit mess, and a huge bill, but that I'll lose the 2 years no interest.

I just have no idea how to get help with this at all. I called on the 8th and the guy told me I would have a statement on the 19th,and my card would be there within 10-15 days. The 19th was a week ago. No statement. It's been 18 days and no card.

Seriously WTF.
