For whatever reason, during one of my Internet roamings, I randomly came across that old Disney animated series, Gargoyles. I forgot how absolutely kick-ass it was! Kids today can keep their Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Jonas Brothers and Wizards of Waverly Place. I had Elisa and Goliath. Still remember vividly seeing for the first time, the episode where Broadway accidentally shoots Elisa in with her own gun. It was so shocking to me, I still can't believe they allowed that kind of dark stuff in a so-called kid's show.
I've been attempting to watch True Blood. It's really intriging, as far as the vampire mythos goes, so I'll probably stick with it for a while. But I'm still trying to get over my hang-ups about Anna Paquin. I know some of you on my flist really like her (*cough
arabian cough*), but she really bothered me as Rogue in the X-Men flicks. I don't know what it is about her...okay well I do. She does this rapid blinking thing, which really annoys me for some reason.
Also, Florence + the Machine just released a new video. Is it just me, or does she seemed to have been influenced by the "Single Ladies" video? Just in the costumes and some of the dancing. The music is completely different.
