Or rather, getting a date advice. There's this really cute new trainer at my gym, and I'm feeling the urge to make a move. But how? Keeping in mind that at the gym, I'm at my least attractive. The treadmill/elliptical leaves me all sweaty and gross.
On a bulletin board in the women's changeroom, there's a sign-up sheet for a free-consultation with him about my fitness goals. The sheet is currently blank. It's sooooo tempting to write my name and number down, but I'm thinking that'd cross the line from bold to batshit crazy. It's like something out of an episode of Sex and the City.
So, my question is...how should I approach him? I'm at the gym all the time (as is he, apparently) and it might become awkward if things go badly. Plus, remember the gross sweatiness. Not my most confident look.
Also, the sign-up sheet has a little write-up about him - as well as being involved in sports, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading and cooking Indian food. If he'll cook Indian food for me, I see no reason we shouldn't get married immediately.
Those of you with significant others - what was your meet-cute? How did you get together? Come on people, I want romantic comedy levels of awwww from you.
