My cousin's poem

This is my cousin's poem. I went over to her house and read it. She said it's a girl loosing someone she love. She never told him how much she loves him and now regrets it after he die.

Read it and please leave a comment . . . I know its not the best but please be nice. She wants to know if there are any improvement she should add.

Here it is:

The star are shinning and you're next to me
You took my hands and pull me into your arms
we laugh and talk for hours
every time you look into my eyes my heart skips a beat

i want to remember, to never forget these pericous memories
for the both of us

i slowly reach out my hand hoping you'll reach back but you disappear
these tears of sorrow, these regrets that is inside
i sit crying everyday, "its only a dream" i lie to myself
i love you so much

when you say "i love you" i was always too shy to say it back
but why? if only i knew I would have told you
my heart is yours, my soul is yours, please don't go

as many tears that are shed they won't bring you back
i never want to say good bye, never to the one i love

i remember you holding me tightly, now i am all alone
i cry in my own sleep, dreams of you and me
your empty side of the bed is cold with no warmth
please don't say good bye
