So I am going to begin giving brief descriptions of martial arts chosen at random - I will ask the same three questions at the end:
Has anyone on my LJ flist ever studied it?
Was it any good?
Would you recommend it?
Here is the first one!!!
Apparently it is a style that has the "combined elements of five Shaolin systems", has it's origins in the 13th century and was founded by Bai Yufeng from Henan province in China.
According to my sources, it borrows elements of footwork from hou quan, power generation frmo luohan quan, breathing methods of iron qi gong, hand techniques from Fujian white crane and striking tehniques from chang quan.
It teaches a core idea of "3 battles" - to achieve success you must have combat preparation and training, combat techniques and tactics and finally, combat strategy.

Was it any good?
Would you recommend it?
