HS OTP? Really? Really?!
This is my brain on Homestuck.
It is a huge massive obsession right now, and I feel like I should apologise for that.
Someone asked me what my Homestuck OTP is. The only answer I could give at that time was "What Quadrant?"
Homestuck is the only fandom I know which gives free reign to having one person be in 4 different relationships, and not be cheating on any of their partners. And cheating is a thing in their culture.
When it comes to Homestuck, I have 5 OTPs. One the human kind, and the other 4 for everyone else. Mixed species pairings not included, though I do have OTP in them too, it's harder to put them in a category as it could be done in one of the 4 quadrants or human love. The one exception is my Auspistice OTP. Which has Rose in it as a definite ashen Quadrant partner.
So, to answer said person. My OTP of Homestuck is:
Dad/Mom
Gamzee <3 Tavros
Snowman <3< Spades Slick
Karkat <> Gamzee
Gamzee c3< Rose c3< Terezi
My mixed OTP right now is Rose/<3Kanaya. I cheered when these two girls finally kissed. And then laughed my ass off. I also ship Jade/<3Karkat.
I also kind of ship the utterly bizarre Karkat <3< Karkat. His self-loathing, it goes there.
Shipping is a hard thing to do in Homestuck, because it is so easy to do. Technically if you can think of a pairing, in some time and space, it can and possibly has/will happened. With the exception of Gamzee pairings for...spoilerific reasons.
