I found this two days ago and have spent most of my time since reading it.
It is a Homestuck AU in which the characters either work or are patients in a mental institute. I love it so much. This takes the characters as they are in Homestuck...and plays their problems straight.
Very straight. Trigger warnings everywhere kind of straight. It hits on several mental illnesses. It goes into topics that require said trigger warning. Things like Attempted Suicide come up.
It also acts as a sounding board for readers suffering from mental illness, or going through a rough period in their life, as a place that acknowledges the craziness in all people and that, no matter your problems, there is always hope and that things can get better. That there's always soemone willing to help you. That you are not alone.
And the really good thing about it is...you don't need to know Homestuck to read it.
