Maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but I'd really like to see a movie about the Bowling Green Massacre. Maybe Frederick Douglass could star. I hear he's doing really good things.

Wow. Apparently, a bunch of people who've been affiliated with Star Trek in some way have come together to endorse a group called "Trek Against Trump." There are some pretty recognizable names on the list of members, and all the various incarnations of Trek are represented both in front of and behind the camera. One of these days, I am going to make a list of women both real and fictional who personify the ideals I would like to embody. So far, Kathy Griffin's mom, "Lucille" from Arrested Development, Elizabeth Warren, Helen Mirren, Gran and this chick are the only ones who've made the cut.
