Friends make the heat seem not-so-hot
This weekend was amazing! Saturday I drove up to Buffalo in the searing heat with no A/C, hence my left arm got sun-burnt. I got to the Crazy's, and then we went even further into the heat to downtown Buffalo. I know, that sounds like an oximoron...but it's true. There are a few select days that Buffalo gets hotter than the Blazes...and we chose one of those days to go into the depths of them. But having fun with friends seemed to help the heat a lil. After a lil Mighty, and Sipe catching up with us, Des the birthday girl came over!! and we all went to Lisa's for a birthday/going-away party. D-Rock, the birthday boy, was there, and we all had ice cream sundaes and killed each other in Maffia.
After a five-hour-sleep, I returned to Elmira for church. Mission-sunday. Tear-jurker. Need I say more? No, my church is still not supporting my financially, but I know a lot who are supporting me through prayer, and that's what really matters.
Pool party with old friends! Mini-highschool reunion! Sunburn like woah! It was so great seeing Brian and Erin! They already are so happy together, and they're going to be that much more happier when they're married! That's gonna be a fun wedding! Rodney, here's hoping you go to Geneseo in the fall.
