TV documentaries, space and random thoughts
Today I'll try this in english. Why not...
I've been sleeping and watching TV all over the holidays. Now I'm addicted to documentaries. Phoenix (german TV station) shows them all, from secrets of the bible to Titanic.
This afternoon it was about space, space stations and mars mission. The most impressing were the comments of the astronauts about their thoughts and views while up there. They all said the same: how fragile and peaceful earth looked through the window. And that they don*t feel like being citizen of a certain country or city, just citizens of earth. The meaning of the unspoken was clear: why fighting for *ridiculous* reasons like religions... we have more important matters to think about. Yeah, sure, tell George W. and Osama.. and dozens of other despots.... well, so much for xmas.
