The beautiful spring weather makes people do crazy things is the conclusion to my weekend. Here are some of the things that happened to me: the guy from the car wash place turned his warm water spray hoes on me on purpose and then maniacally laughed for 5 minutes, did not apologies and instead asked for my number! In what worlds is that flirting I ask?
Strange encounter N.2 - my 100% homosexual hairdresser invited me to a party with a nude Harry Potter team! I am not kidding - there is such a thing - you wear between 1 and 4 things from the wardrobe of your favorite character. I didn’t know what to say, I was shocked. I guess I am more of a prude than I though I was.
Best peculiar stumble upon for the weekend - a girl attempted to come into my fitting room, because her mother told her that I looked like/or was Kate Winslet. Needless to say Kate and me don’t look anything alike.
All this weirdness is stressing me out.
On the TV front:
Dive was refreshingly cheesy with all the clichés, gimmicks and potential hook ups. It’s a really good cast though. Mostly underrated actors, with a possibility to make this a must see show. I’m going to keep watching it for now.
Entourage - for all the stuff that I hate about this show (E’s lack of storylines, the mountain of clichés, presented in the most boring and uncreative way, Drama’s poorly constructed and badly acted self loathing and Adrian Greer’s baby face to name a few), I have to give them credit for Ari and Lloyed. Not that it’s original, but it damn well acted and just plain fun to watch those two:
Jay: …if he doesn’t come home with me these papers aren’t getting signed.
Ari: You know what? That’s actually fine with me. We may be whores at my agency, but we ain’t pimps.
Lloyd: Ari Gold, you’re my hero.
Even with that the last ep was meh at best. They need new writers, like Turtle needs a job IMHO.
Jenna Elfman kicked Ally Mcbeal’s ass in hilarity and brilliance in this weeks “Brothers and Sisters”. I want more Jones now please. Kitty and Calista by that matter are pissing me off week after week. I just don’t get why she doesn’t what to even meet Rebecca. Also - Joe and Rebecca (since I am not spoiled and haven’t seen the promos, I did not expect that!) - EWWWWWWWWWW! And she told Justin - again ewwwwwwwww!!!
I haven’t seen Desperate housewives and TAR yet, still d/ling them. Unfortunately I wondered over at TWoP last week and got spoiled on who wins the race and now I feel like I can’t watch it any more. Too sad!
