Books I listened to in the year 2009 (I have no idea of the order):
* Salt by Mark Kurlansky
* The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels +
* The Return of Depression Economics and the Crisis of 2008 by Paul Krugman
* The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - the full BBC series, by Douglas Adams (mostly) +(books only)
* Robert Anton Wilson Explains Everything by Robert Anton Wilson +
* A Spoken Breakdown by William S. Burroughs +
* Dead City Radio by William S. Burroughs +
* Deep History and the Brain by Daniel Lord Smail
* Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency - the BBC series, by Douglas Adams + (book only)
* A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
* My Man Jeeves by PG Wodehouse
* ...and probably several others that I can't find in/am missing from my last.fm charts.
+ marks books I had previously read.
Books I'm most glad I read.: Fear & Loathing, You Can't Win, Junky, & Pimp. Also, all the rest.
Most Effort to Read: Molecules of Emotion in a landslide. I even posted about it. It's on livejournal, it must be true!
Most likely to re-read next: I'd say there's a 50-50 chance I'll re-read Jhegaala immediately before or after I get Iorich from the library.
Book I intend to make Christine read: Was Superman A Spy? because... I had a reason at the time.
Note that comic books are not included in the formation of this list, because tracking them all would be physically impossible. Nay, ridiculously so.
First book of 2010: Solar Lottery by Philip K. Dick. Part of a pile of old PKD novels finally released in Vintage editions that I got used for a song at Powell's over X-mas weekend. Next up is probably Trick Baby by Iceberg Slim, but these predictions are notoriously inaccurate.
