Welp. I got the job. And they're gonna start me on more than what I asked for in the interview, so that's pretty awesome.
And I put in my notice at my current job this morning, so it's a done deal. I wound up having to e-mail my resignation letter to my boss, which I hate because I was going to tell him today in person, but he e-mailed everyone this morning saying he was going to be out for the day. And he's not going to be in next week either, so that's just how it all worked out.
So, um.
Oop.
I feel kind of bad for leaving, but I really think this is a step in the right direction. I also feel like my life's basically just been buffering for the last year and now it's about to actually start moving again, like soon I'll be back to working toward something instead of just working to pay off loans. And that feels pretty good.
