Jack still was not sure as to what he would be doing today. There didn't seem to be much to do at all, which was a change from his usual schedule. He didn't have much paperwork to do, nor did he had meetings to arrange.

No, this place was much too calm.

So the best place to find seemed to be the library - he always appreciated a good book, regardless of where he was.

Once he had found the library, he entered, immediately filing away the location of the other man in his mind, and scanning titles.

Being a rather unsocial creature by nature, Wesker paid the man little attention upon his arrival. He did, however, spare a glance before going back to the book that he was barely reading in the first place.

The man looked unfamiliar but a resident none the less. Surely no one interesting. Not yet at least.

A moment or two passed before Wesker looked again, this time sparing a moment to study the other man. He seemed normal enough if not slightly uninteresting. Defined features set in what could be a charismatic frame. Hm. Still. It would be unrealistic to assume that one could have the entire library to themselves. He didn’t like to share, but could manage so long as he was left in peace.

Jack didn't bother to stop the smirk when he noticed the other man inspecting him. Instead, he simply lifted a hand in greeting.

"As you have not specified if I am to leave you to your own devices or not, I will offer a greeting," Jack said, cranking up the politeness levels.

"It would be improper to demand solace in a public venue." Wesker answered, raising a slender brow.

Ah. It seemed he was tolerable. A very good sign.

"Shouldn't you be at the picnic?"

"Stand and fight you knave!" Sora yelled as he came charging into the library, waving around his 'sword', the spoon badly bent and damaged from the teenager smashing it into things (and people).

He jumped over (and under) a few tables, battling an imaginary opponent, before backing over the chair Wesker was sitting in, managing to fall into the older man's lap since the chair (and man) were thankfully too heavy to knock over. "Hi! Are you evil?" he asked cheerily.

It took Wesker all of a second to flip Sora off and right on his ass. The boy’s rather unceremonious entrance had drawn the man’s attention, well, more demanded it, and he’d watched with irritation as the little brunette run around fighting a figment of his imagination.

It was clear as to why the boy was in a place like this. He was obviously suffering from a terrible case of moron. Anyone who knew of Wesker’s existence tried their best to stay out of his way unless they were intentionally looking to die. It seemed that no one had bothered to inform this young miscreant.

“Touch me again and you’ll be ruing the day you were born.”

"But you seem fun to touch," Sora said with a grin before bouncing to his feet. "I'm Sora, the Keyblade Master, who are you?" he asked cheerily, offering his hand.

Sora wasn't one to be intimidated or scared away, and instead plunged into everything head on, even if it meant stepping on toes...or pissing people off.

Not to mention, he always liked having new friends.

A friend he was not.

"Albert Wesker and I can assure you that I am not." Was the given reply, though no hand was offered to shake.

Sora was on thin ice the second he had entered the library. It was more like the lair of a dragon...if dragons spent their time reading Alice in Wonderland that is. The man was wearing dark sunglasses, even though they were indoors, the faintest glint of red sparkling from behind his shades.

William Birkin currently didn't really want anything to do with anyone. But if anyone knew the ex-scientist, they'd have known that the library was on of his favorite places to be. After his really hard conversation with his therapist yesterday, it was the perfect place to lose himself in a good book. Probably something along the lines of philosophy or one of those crime drama's. Of course he wouldn't let anyone know he read either ( ... )

“Not going to say hello to me, William?” Wesker asked, not bothering to look up from his book.

He had felt the other approach but paid it no amount of great attention. They were far overdue for a certain conversation but the ways of the institution had been rather successful at preventing it. Perhaps it was on purpose given their history. What with attempted murder and everything.

“I’m beginning to think that you’re avoiding me.”

A nervous laugh hit the blonds ears sharply, making even the ex-scientist cring a bit at the sound. Was that what he sounded like? How annoying. He turned and looked at the taller man before speaking.

"Avoiding you? Not at all, Albert." He lied. He had been meaning to speak with him, just he was nervous about this meaning for such obvious reasons. After what happened with Steve, he thought his reaction to the other blond would be about the same. He felt the curl of lust hitting him but held it back.

"I guess this place is a good enough place to talk as any other." He said dully as he took a seat near the older man. William watched him for a moment, taking in the sight of Wesker reading.

"Interesting choice of reading material." William stated.

"Hn. I've never read it."

From the looks of it, Wesker was several chapters in but not more than half way. He had received more attention then he had wanted today and reading had become difficult with constant interruption of British socialites and suspiciously dense, spoon brandishing, children.

He marked his place and then closed the book, setting it to the side as if to signify that he was indeed turning his full attention to the matter at hand. There had been seldom a chance for them to actually be face to face since Malaise had moved and William recaptured. It seemed that a great deal had transpired.

"Was it worth it?"
