The weekend after the night before

Jun 26, 2006 16:59

The night out with my work friends was interesting. They're lovely people, but I do think that the only thing I had in common with them was that we worked together.

Thank you to all of you who posted congratulations on my last entry, twas very sweet. :)
Wookie gave me a lovely card and mug that said 'first class lawyer' on it. Saturday morning was one of the laziest I've had in ages, just curled up in bed watching 'Quantum Leap'. Then in the afternoon, Wookie and I headed into town to get exchange pounds to Euros for Greece and I did a little bit of shopping which included some Skechers and a bikini.

I spent Saturday evening relaxing at the Dry Dock with the Draper Street girls,
Rob,
Mark and the others from Nixon Court too. That's one thing I'll definitely miss - meeting up for a drink and a chat at the pub with everyone who I don't usually see.

Sunday involved more shopping, baking brownies with
Sam and the watching of Serial Mom for the three millionth time.

I'm feeling energetic today so tonight I shall be playing badminton. Really, it's just another cunning way of avoiding packing. I'm moving back home on Saturday for the last time and my Dad will kill me if I'm not ready to leave at 9am sharp Saturday morning.

going out, mm food, home, shopping, holiday, dvd goodness
