And it all went dark

I'm back at university now, moving in wasn't as stressful as it usually is although somebody did decide to prang my car in the Asda car park. The flat's as quiet as ever, which as usual I find strange as I like being surrounded by activity and sound. Yesterday, I went to grandmasam's pretty much as soon as I arrived for roast dinner and general catch ups with everybody. It was good to see everybody again, and we finally managed to give spaceydaveb his birthday presents. I think he liked them. I think Leicester makes me a tad strange. I came home, switched the light on in my room. The lightbulb blew leaving me in the dark and I burst into tears. Not the most normal reaction. I finished most of my unpacking last night when I got home, and really should put the last few things away and print off my essays today.

Oh, and Steph has given me the vast majority of her music collection, yay.

This morning's been quite productive so far. I've sorted out the internet, rang the people I needed to. I was going to give blood today, but typically the only day the Leicester blood donor place is shut is a Monday. Instead I'll go into town and run a few errands and try not to spend money. I should have my loan come through today, but that'll pay my rent and after that I'm broke. I also need to e-mail my manager at work to see what the hours are like for this term. Anyways, better crack on.
