(no subject)
Another 4 A.M. night last night writing the paper that would not end. Would not end, necessarily, not because it's LONG, per se -- oh, no, that would be downright explainable -- but I can't seem to wrap my head around what happened;/WHY I now think it perfectly acceptable to function at such a deplorably glacial pace. I lost my powers of bullshittery!!!!

Last year I could pull a five page paper out of my ass in a few hours; but now I'm floundering to write an eight page paper in the, um, what is it? OH YES, confines of maybe a few days.
Honestly, would not be so bad really, if it weren't a research paper. But it is. I enjoy the subject. But, again, other people's opinions are annoying to integrate/be in "dialogue" with. Kind of because it's one more layer of reasoning I have to negotiate, but mostly because I can't keep their damn names straight in the parenthetical notations.
LOL, no. that's a lie.
It's mostly because my intellect is so vastly superior, it takes extra effort to keep them all from dumbing down my paper.
okay, now I'm just being silly.
Sleep has been a while since had it I.

BUT it's fine! Because one of the texts I'm using is To the Lighthouse and l get to read things like this:
"His immense self-pity, his demand for sympathy poured and spread itself in pools at her feet, and all she did, miserable sinner that she was, was to draw her skirts a little closer round her ankles, lest she should get wet."
I like it.
Anyhoodles, Once this paper is done, I've got another eight pages for Wednesday (for the scariest pee in my pants because I'm so damned incapable class). Also another essay/presentation for Tuesday (but I'll take care of that this weekend). THIS IS NO FUNSIES. I'M JUST SAYIN.
I don't even want to start even a preliminary process of even THINKING about finals
Which is to say, really, fuck my life. Fuck my life SO. HARD.
