Things have been a little stressful lately, but I'm still working on costuming projects. I'm not quite finished my 1867 print dress because I'm tired of it. All that needs doing is hooks and eyes, so it's something I can finish up quickly when motivated. I'm working on a Canadian cloud as well. Mine is in beige because if we ended up wearing them on the same outing, I didn't want to "match" you. The pattern I have says do it in a herringbone stitch. I looked that up and found an explanation for that but I have no idea if modern herringbone is the same as Victorian herringbone. Anyway, my stitch takes for ever! 45 minutes per row. And there is very little length added to it once a row is done. I'm having a hard time getting back to it...I'm bored! Anyway, I like yours. The color and stitch will make it look like a cloud wrapped around your head!

Yours looks really pretty! I've been thinking of yours since I started this. But it sucks that it takes so long. I'm getting worried that I might not have bought enough yarn for mine. I really want to make it to 3 yards in length, but we'll see after the first ball of yarn is used up. If it's not enough, maybe I'll be asking for some more at Christmas. Thanks!
