Here's a little ficlet that jumped into my head after my umpteeth viewing of Serenity last night. Set during the movie, just after the Maidenhead. Cross-posted to ff_fanfic.

Gorgeous little fic. I love the setting; more fic should be set during "Serenity." I really love it.

And it is pretty fun to fill in gaps between scenes, I'm finding. An acceptable challenge, since you have to make them contiguous as well.

Well done...really great job on characterizing Mal - I've got to catch up on your other fic, I've gotten behind.

And I agree, more Serenity gap-fillers...there was too much Mal and River goodness on screen for there to not have been other things happening off screen...
