Mama Pajama rolled out of bed...
I haven't posted anything in probably over a year. And no one reads this anymore. So I may just keep it just for me.
Today was a very productive Saturday. We scheduled our camping trip for my birthday at Malouf's Mountain. I'm really excited! I haven't been camping in ages! The whole package includes the train ride there and a shuttle from the train station to the trail head. Then they take your stuff to the site while you enjoy the hike up one of five trails. The camp site has a fire pit and covered 'patio' so you can get out of your tent if it's rainy. We're going to have a blast!
Then Richard helped me film my first cooking webisode today. I've been wanting to do it for awhile. I think I am going to call it The Adventurous Chef...mostly because no other name I've come up with sounds even slightly cool. :\ This episode was "Sweet and Salty Sticky Buns". I haven't made them in years and I'm surprised I remembered the recipe. I wrote it down today in case I forget it eventually. We had so much fun filming. Especially because we took many Champagne and strawberry breaks. ;) We were very good and only ate one bun each...but there's always tomorrow.
We also took the opportunity to set up a photo shoot. Richard played around with a few lighting techniques and camera settings, so I'm excited to see how they turn out. He is getting really good. I've been telling him for a long time that he is great. We made a deal that he would enter a photo contest and if he won, he'd have to start entering them regularly. And he won! It was an Abe's of Maine wildlife photography contest (which I think is his specialty). So we'll see what he wins next time.
Then we steamed some clams and played some Wii. So really, quite the busy little bee today.

Everyone always says, "Oh, the two year mark in a relationship is really hard." Richard and I have been together oveer two years and I can't believe how connected we are. Every day I am reminded that he is my very best friend and he knows me better than anyone else. I freaking love his guts.
