(no subject)
Hey.
Life is boring same old same old. My mom says I don't have enough adventures...ok...she doesn't think I have ANY adventures. I tried to tell her that I didn't come equipped with an adventure gene, but she wasn't buying it.
I guess I am too busy trying to be all growned up and responsible and junk- but I think that is an adventure in its own right. As of late, though, I have been working on my patience (work), behaving like a normal adult human (work), and budgeting my money. The latter is going a little better, and I tend that spacing out at work helps with the patience thing. Behaving adult-ish, however, is going to take some work.
At work, I have been doing my "one hour left dance," much to the amusement/dismay/bewilderment of my coworkers. One of the ladies at service desk showed her kids my dance and they called her lame and picked on her. :) I tried to tell her that the art of the Nerd Dance, as I call it, is very precise and technical, and you have to have the aptitude to dance all nerdy like, but she didn't listen. Any one else who has worked with me or been my roommate know that not just anyone can do the Nerd Dance properly. :)
Speaking of nerds, Joe is doing well. We never did get his Palm Pilot back, which is a bummer. Since my last entry, he has turned 26, so because of his birthday and the presents associated with that, he has been in better spirits. :) The cats are good too- making good use of our new (to us) couch while we are at work.
