goes my lil car when I pull out onto a road and someone barrels around a blind corner at a billion miles an hour over the speed limit and I'm too far out to stop or back up. Man. It may have over 120K miles on it now, and it may be two oil changes past due but that lil civ can GO
So anyway. The results came back and I DON'T have lymes. YAY!
Now the question is WHAT is causing my weakness/pain and WHAT can be done about it? You know, other than switching careers becuase FUCK NO I AM NOT GIVIN UP A LIFE WORKIN WITH HORSES ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS??!! This is what I love to do . This is what I'm good at.
Anyway...sad news, I won't be working Bianca anymore. Apparently I did TOO good and she's ready for other people now. I'll miss her. She's a blast, but if she's ready for the other girls rock on lil mare! It opens up my time to work more with Goliath (frikkin monster that he is...only horse I've ever seriously wanted to hve nub spurs for) and Ice. Ice is smart, hims quick learner and picking up how to work off the bit VERY nicely. And soon maybe a 3rd horse. Phew. I busy
By end of the week I should know if I got the job with the Morgan breeding/showing/lesson barn. I hope I do. It's a killer facility.
Jamie has snatched Homie away from being my training horse, someone is interested in her as a potential barrel prospect...so instead of me using her to test out on with my training program...I'm back to Beauty and Coal. Which isn't a problem....I'll just probably fail miserably because I've been working so hard with Homie....I'll be heartbroken if she sells, but...well....if she goes somewhere and has a good job what can I do right?
I went riding with a friend today, got put up on a supposed former reining horse....he's totally forgotten everything related to reining, but was still fun to ride. Pics and Vids to come so you can laugh at me.
One of the other girls that rides at that stable even asked me to work with her horse while she's out of town. YAY! It feels good when people think I'm good enough for their special horsies no one else is allowed to play with. =^ - ^=
