I needed a toybox/storage space for Miss M's books.  She has a bookshelf in her room, but I find that we always have books scattered around the living room that she really likes and we read a lot, so it's a pain to get them out and put them back in the shelf multiple tiimes a day.  Originally I was going to look for one at the store.  I realized how silly that would be, though, since I have stacks of unused boxes in our garage.  So, behold my craftiness:




One sturdy cardboard box.  Some nice, heavyweight white paper to line the inside and outside of the box first.  Tissue paper.  Mod Podge.
All from things I already had.  It's not perfect, but I'm actually very pleased with it.  It didn't cost me anything, and I had a great time making it.
