It's five and I'm getting ready to make dinner. It's a challenge to figure out what to make the 2 days before Thanksgiving, but now there's a plan. Tonight is chicken parmesan and bow tie pasta and tomorrow is polska kielbasa. As for Turkey day, I think I've acquired all the necessary bits so I don't have to go back to the store. The Countess had a long day at work and requires a grilled cheese cheese with tomato soup.

I will be making Chourico and potatoes, basically boiling the cut-up sausage and potatoes and mashing it all together with butter.

It's comfort-food night!

So - I have to make turkey for the first time ever - I've heard good things about bringn but I'e also heard it makes the meat noticibly saltier. Any opinions? In what do you tend to brine your turkey.

Also - who else is looking at doing the tri with you?

They haven't committed to it yet, and it would be something I wouldn't want to announce.

How about you? Are you going to commit?

I'm tentatively interested in coming by and going walking with you some morning this weekend (Thurs-Sun). Not sure if it would work timing-wise (when we start our mornings) or if our paces would mesh - but here's the offer.

I'm planning on working out all of those mornings. I don't tend to start any earlier than about 9am (although I will probably go early on Thanksgiving Day, around 8).

Are you up by then? Shall I call?

...I actually can't find my sneakers. No idea where they got to and I am *not* shopping this weekend. So - no go for me.

Yay for you though!

I just saw that there was a thing called Black Friday sales at Home Depot on their appliances and stuff, and thought of you. Was heading here to tell you about it and presto! You already knew. :-)

Lady - you're rocking! Way to keep the focus on you and what you want to do, without getting down on distractions. Keep going - you can do it!!! Hugs.
