"... Let's start the song... by burning down these bridges..."

It's about time I had a great time.

Last night was alot of fun. Like so much fun I can't even describe it.

I played in @ [Cru] again with Greg, Dave, and Marc, as well as a keyboard player, who's name is also Dave. So the stage was pretty packed. But man did it go great. We played "Memory" by Sugarcult first, and it was great. Even though Dave didn't know the lyrics that well, lol. But Greg and I sang back up the entire song, so even when Dave didn't know the lyrics, we filled in. It's just a really fun, rockin' song, and the solo I got to pull off sounded good. So all was well after the first song.

Second, we played "Existentialism on Prom Night" by Straylight Run. Which.. really is just a good, pretty song. I played my acoustic for this song, because well, that's what it called for, and Dave played electric (but only on the breakdown). I sang the backup parts, which was cool. The song just was good. Enough said. We'll probably play again in a few weeks, which is cool. Even though I wish it was sooner. We may even do an "80's" night sometime soon, where we cover some 80's songs. Fun fun.

After that I just went back to my room and relaxed, read a little (fucking philosophy and B.F. Skinner), and then watched The Boondock Saints, which is not only one of my favorite movies, but is just so fucking badass. I suggest people see it if they haven't.

The next few days should be fun, and filled with drunken-ness and costume-ness. I finally figured out what I was going to be this morning: a greaser. Should be fun.

That is all.
