I've been a good girl, getting some editing done this week just like I'd promised. I've been wanting to do some work on "Fate" ever since I wrote it, and that was almost two years ago. But, since I can't completely stop writing, no matter what I do, I've been doing my little fairy tale rewrites. The eleven dancing princesses went well, so this time I did my favorite fairy tale, Beaut and the Beast. I'm actually pretty pleased with this one, and it's not very long, so I hope you'll all give it a read and let me know what you think.
La Beaute est la Bete Now, I must be off. My parents are finally coming out here from Texas, and they're supposed to be here in about an hour. My poor brother, they're staying with him for at least a month! I think I'd have to jump off the balcony if I were him. Although, since we only live on the second floor, it might not do much good. But I have missed them, so I'm glad that they'll be next door for a while.
Oh, and I finally saw "Hannibal Rising" the other night. It was okay. And some of the murder scenes were pretty good. The joke about the sideways pussy really made me laugh (mostly because a friend of my brother's actually asked that same thing last year, and he was almost halfway serious about it) too. But, all and all, it was mediocre at best. Kind of a let down. I can't wait to go see "Hostel II" next week (or is it this week?) and I hope it's not as disapointing a sequel.
I just hope that I get a chance to read some of the new Anita Blake book from LKH tonight. I went and got "The Harlequin" this moring, and I can't wait to read it. I don't care what anyone says, I like the newer Anita books better than the first few books. I'm in the minority, I know, but I'm don't really care. Now if only my parents will give me some time alone tonight to read ^-^
