Another one of those 'wait, why isn't CNN running this headline' moment.
CNN headline:
Officials: Christmas bomb plot suspect is talking
BBC headline:
Pakistan blast kills US soldiers
So, we are more obsessed with some pissant failed nutsack bomber than our actual brothers and sisters dieing overseas to supposedly 'fight terrorism'. You know this has more to do with the politics too - the republicans made a big stink about how putting this guy through the normal court system was such a bad idea and he'd never talk because he wasn't being freakin' waterboarded. (bite me Liz Cheney).
(sure this might be a little unfair, for all I know a few minutes ago CNN had this as the headliner, and it is in the 'top stories' list. But still, it got bumped for some trivial new information that had political implications. All news is political in this day and age).
