J2 school stories - Part 1
Ok, so I got a LJ just to be able to properly commenting when I've read a fanfic story. And for that purpose it is working just fine. Now, the stories I read all mostly come from the Supernatural 'verse, and for a long time I stuck with only SPN stories, but then I got pulled into the world of RPS by some good stories (Yeah, imagine the horror). At first I had stayed far away from RPS, since hey, it's real people... But you know, it's not really - It's just fiction, guys! Soooo, now I'm really into the phenomenon better know as J2. And I really really really love reading AU fanfiction stories with them at high school / college.
So I thought to my self, "self, why don't you make a list of your fav stories?". Which I then did. And after that was done, another thought occurred; "Majs, how 'bout putting it on your LJ? Then you actually have a reason for posting something on it AND perhaps other could use the list too"... And so that's where I am now. Posting my list over the J2 AU high school / college fic's that I've read. Yeah, now it's not just my fav, just all that I've read, so I can remember which ones I've read and which I haven't - since that actually started to become a problem after a while.
So anyway, although this was made for my own pleasure (and probably just an excuse to make a list - it's a habit, I know) I hope that others will find it useful as well. And if you know other stories that I haven't mentioned here, please feel free to mail the links to me - I'm sure there are loads out there that I haven't read yet :) Uh, and as always please let me know if you have suggestions for the list or ways to improve it.
ETA 2010: After more than 3 years with this list and almost 300 stories, I’ve finally made a Delicious page! This means that checking out the delicious tags will hopefully make it easier for you to find a fic weather you would like to read one where Jensen is a cheerleader or a teacher, Jared being shy.... Or perhaps all you wanna read are the big bangs. Hopefully you’ll all be happy for the change, either way comments are always welcome on this site.
ETA January 26th 2011: Have just put story #500 on the list... O.o Wow! It's a good thing that I've moved the list to delicious or it would have been a jungle to navigate through all those stories. When I started the list back in 2007 I never thought it would become this big. Hope ya' all still enjoying it! :)
